My darling Si, I hope you have found peace. I believe the universe had a different plan for you. I can imagine your organisation and compassion would come in handy up there in these crazy times. You were one of a kind and the most caring of men. You always looked out for me and every time you called me Sar (which you always did! & I loved it) I felt a warm glow of love and affection. We shared lots of great times in which you were instrumental. I cherish those Friday morning journeys to the Big Chill to join the rest of the boys. You had just finished a night shift and struggled to stay awake to keep me company and navigate (dubious at times!). We then lugged our body weight in booze and festival paraphernalia miles to camp (mark sometimes meeting us part way, half cut & no help!), you always carried the most and had infinite patience (me less so). I’m sad our little ones won’t get to know the fun and kind Si that we knew and loved but I am grateful for the time we shared. All my love always Sar x
